How Cold Laser Works
Cold Laser Therapy is also called Low-Level Laser Therapy. Treatments last 10 minutes and are painless. Generally, multiple laser treatments are needed to help a condition.
The photons from the Laser penetrate the tissue of the body up to 3 inches in depth. The photons directly stimulate the mitochondria inside the cells to significantly increase ATP (energy molecules) output.
Mitochondria are organelles found inside all of our cells where the metabolic energy processes occur. Specifically, glucose is metabolized or burned with the use of oxygen to make energy in the form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP).
